Sydney: Don't use rational thought as a defence with me. Not after all you and I have seen. Vaughn, you and I live and breathe madness. Every day on the job there is no rational thought. I can't even pretend to have a conversation about anything else with you. What it comes down to is faith. What I was hoping you would say is, 'Sydney, I gave up on us. I lost faith.' But what you came here for was closure and there is not a chance that you are getting that from me. I'm not gonna say, 'I understand,' I'm not gonna sympathise with you and tell you how hard it must be for you. But you want to know how I am? I am horrible! Vaughn, I am ripped apart! And not because I lost you... but because... if it had been me... I would have waited... I would have found the truth... I wouldn't have given up on you! And now I realize... what an absolute waste that would have been!

OMG i LOVE this scene! its so intense!!! shes such an amazing actress! too bad she doesn't do serious movies anymore, and that she didn't marry michael vartan! haha . You can tell she's trying hard not to cry!

@tuckatangent true great acting but wrong it wouldnt be justified since she herself moved on after Danny died so quickly...lets just say Danny by some miracle wasnt dead..if he came back would he be justified to be angry for so long? Nope people need to move on or else theyll die as well

God, I love still scene. It's the most visceral I ever saw from Syd, and I just ate it up. I only wish her anger had been maintained; it was completely justified.

Okay, I can't help but notice how much the peter/Olivia scene from Fringe and this scene are so similiar. Both Peter/Vaughn were pretty silent while Sdyney/Olivia were telling their feelings. its also funny how much Anna and jen's facial expression and voice patterns were similar as well. LOL. They also walk away leaving both Peter and Vaughn speechless.
