Meditation S T

Meditation S. T. (Supra-Modulated Transformations) is a contemplative aural and visual meditation. The piece is designed for consciousness expansion and creative visual inspirations using many kinds of additive audiovisual techniques.

VISION
Pure video synthesis oscillatory geometrical visualizations were used. Transformational linear modulation techniques and processes were applied to many elements.

MUSIC
Ambient and reverberant surreal atmospherics were created and mixed together from three different original meditative soundscapes.

The result is a multi-layered transcendental manifold using different spatial modulations in two dimensions. An omniscient meditative experience describes causation, self-oscillating and regenerative principles for the flow of contemplation and expansion. The background and two different foreground image layers were all created separately and mixed together to form a unifying composite. The metaphysical visual motifs allude to a higher state of awareness and are also very interesting from a technical perspective in that several orders of modulation are used simultaneously.

I love the way the images are always changing and yet manage to remain somehow constant. Like time, always changing but consistent and following a very fixed pattern, for the individual at least, knows where it's going and continuously forms itself to be as it is in the present and yet ready to take on the future form it will be. In short: it knows where it's going.

This video also suggests to me a visual representation of the process we call Stream of Consciousness. Good work.
