Designed to improve the power of race cars, HKS displayed their Bolt on Turbo Kit which thanks to a center housing and water-cooling system increases the engine's power and extends the life of the kit.

By changing the injector and cooler the engine power is increased. With a normal system, 140ps and 15 kg-m of torque are produced but with a non-catalyzer system 185ps and 24kg-m of torque is achieved and with a catalyzer the system provides 170ps and 21kg-m of torque.

This kit will be available worldwide in March.

While designed specifically for race cars, a street legal version is planned for production.

  • Gay.... MECHANICAL FUEL INJECTION FTW!!!!

  • the turbo charger power giving actually based on his size and the gas pressure the engine makes in it

(bigger is better because it can handle more gas)

    btw

engine with higher rpm will gain more power from turbo because it relises into the turbo more gas/air

  • @ninja6kid 30 Hp on a 90 horse car is a 33% increase. If you ever increase or decrease anything by 33% usually it's significantly noticeable. Obviously it's not the most gain you can get from a bolt on, but the point of my comment was to say 30hp on a lower horse car is a "significant" (dictionary reference com/browse/significant) gain and it is.

  • um no....my zx10 made 90 whp, bolt on supercharger makes 220whp...30 is fuck all

  • kilogramm meters.....interesting they dont know newton :D

  • @NoiteraD a stock 1985 nissan 200sx turbo has no intercooler look it up its a ca18et go on here put ca18et and u will c a turbo motor without an intercooler its just a single pipe that gos from the turbo to the intake

  • @mustang50dominates It all adds up. including reduction of weight, exhaust. If mods added 30hp in this case and other mods say 10hp each, soon 50 hp is gained. Isn't the bottom line to get more power to go faster?

  • @cossymad85 plus, the intercooler allows the turbo to be cooled, and it can run on a higher boost more reliably

  • @rotorav8 True M8!
