I think she was a Great singer .But I dont like at all the way she treat her musicians so rude an arrogant maner,But who know's what happen's in rehersals.I'm singer and I have been suffering terrible thing's in the hands of evil musicians when I started my carrier .We never know.Anyway Carmen you are so Great.

Those are three great players. I have worked with both Eric Gunnison and Scott Colley. They are consummate professionals. Carmen, great as she was, was known as a hardass with musicians and I have personally seen her dress down great musicians on the bandstand. I think that was unprofessional on her part, even though I admired her great talent. No need to be that way on the bandstand. No reason to be rude to her musicians.

As usual Carmen is consistently excellent with her feeling for each song and her most inventive scatting. The rhythm section is in step with Carmen. Mark is on other performances and lays down a steady pace for Carmen. Thanks for all of your postings. God Bless Carmen. She is missed.

Jive ass??? She hired them. They're pros and Carmen's the boss. They play at whatever volume level she wants, believe me..
Note that they had the gig and you didn't.
