Sidewalk chalk flood in grand rapids michigan rob bliss.

Rob bliss urban experiments in Grand Rapids michigan like to do local community based projects of funness. This one was the downtown sidewalk chalk flood. The whole city for a few miles is covered in sidewalk chalk now.
Kendall College of Art and Design, my school, apparently supplied alot of the chalk, if thats true thats pretty cool. Yay art school!

Unfortunately it's pretty blurred without it.. so you can't see the sidewalk art very well.

Three mile radius covered in sidewalk chalk? That's over 28 square miles... I seriously doubt there were 28 square miles of chalked sidewalks.

and I don't see why you want to say this is so terrible. If people want to come eat off of our streets...eww, then let them come and eat crap off of them. I'm not sure how THIS could make us look bad. Big deal we like to have fun, as a country we have the means to. It isn't america's fault that all of these people you talk about are suffering, its their own government's fault. People don't hate america for having fun, they hate us for our beliefs and being able to have crap they don't.

no, your completely correct, not EVERYTHING we do has to go to the starving people, but when something HUGE like this happens, and a whole city is out painting with chalk on the ground starving people would eat off..... it doesn't make our country look good..... That's why so many people hate Americans, they just run around and have fun all day and some go around crying and complaining while there are people who are truly suffering out there, I really don't see why you defend this videos so much

That makes no sense, it is SIDEWALK CHALK, I'm pretty sure that those starving kids in africa aren't going to eat sidewalk chalk. If it is the money spent on it that you're reffering to it IS their money, people will do what they want with their money. I'm sure you can't honestly tell me you use all of your spare money outside of house payments or whatever to feed starving kids in africa. It's like saying buying something is bad because someone in the world is affected in unrelated reasons.

yes, So the whole city would rather draw on the sidewalk than feed the starving Africans, and I would argue with anyone on YouTube about this, because the life of 1 child is worth more than all the Gay sidewalk art in the world!

I don't see how its horrid, sure you may think its a waste of money except well...Its SIDEWALK-CHALK. This is what sidewalk chalk is used for so that arguement doesn't work.
