Thank you for the informative video.This video has prompted another question "why does GOD need to express in BMI etc or why were we created"?

Metaphorically, BMI is to God what waves are to the sea. ¿Does the sea 'need' to express the waves? ¿Isn't it true that every wave is only the sea manifested as a wave? So the world is an expression of the Creator. Man has a body, a mind and an intellect, and our nature is Consciousness, and as such we are not separate from God, which is Consciousness. We are born to end our ignorance of that fact, just like the fact that the waves are essentially the same as the sea.

The answer to the qestion "Why" is lost as the video quality is bad at that point. Can someone who has listened to the lecture live or watched a better quality video fill in the blanks ?

Dear veenasundara: I am sorry about this "glitch" in the video and audio. This talk was painstakenly taken from 20 minute open reel video tape circa 1974. The expression of our personality is nothing else but Consciousness itself. That is not a problem, the problem is our identification with the Body/Mind/Intelect complex. Taking ourself to be these limited adjuncts, is the reason we suffer. Solution: Know Thyself. You are Limitless Consciousness, not a limited individual

I studied at Chinmaya Vidyalaya in India. It is good to go back to the teachings of my school days through this video. I had forgotten but now I remember again.

Thanks for the prompt reply(just changed my username). We are all very lucky that you have put these videos here. I have read/heard about "what" our situation is and "how" to remedy it - but am unable to get the answer to "why"- i.e why does Conciousness identify itself with the BMI ? I was excited that question was about to be answered but that was the portion of the tape that was missing - hence the question.
