I actually have this exact same junction, as I recorded the "Smith & Jones" special "The Home Made Xmas Video" on it's transmission ate.

As Treffynnon says, the announcer here is definitely the lugubrious David Allan, not David Miles.
'Catch a Fallen Star' was one of the programmes bizarrely scheduled to be shown between 4.00 am and 6.00 am on the night of the ill-fated 1992 election - they were listed in Radio Times with the proviso that they might be dropped, and indeed they were.
