@Webcast01 We teach students how to use Final Cut Pro because it is the industry standard. However, you are welcome to use any editing platform that you feel comfortable with.

Hi @TheJoshBudde - Each film student works on multiple films throughout the degree program. Usually in groups, students work together to form production teams and chose their rolls as writers, editors, producers, and directors, to name a few, on their films. @LetsCreateGreatFilm You don't have to buy the Mac from them, I'm pretty sure they allow you to bring your own computer. Everyone just buys the MacBook, though. I think the whole idea of buying the MacBook is to get used to the industry standard (Macs), along with the software the comes with it. When I received my MacBook I also received a CD full of Adobe programs, Microsoft programs, and much more. You'll get different programs depending on your degree field.

@SamWazamTV It's a great school, if you can handle the intense work load. Courses are only 1 month long, but it's definitely worth it. It's a great experience, trust me. I'm not in Film, I'm in Computer Animation, but I love the campus, courses, instructors, and overall atmosphere in the school. If you're really interested, I'd suggest the Behind the Scenes tour that Full Sail offers.

Do you use older versions of Final Cut Pro such as FCP7? Because in my opinion, the newest version is not great.
