1davidcookfan, I don't think it's mean at all. On the contrary. It points out the ridiculousness of people caring about something that has absolutely nothing to do with a person's talent.
Adam has a fantastic sense of humor and I'm sure he laughed.
Plus, as LeBaggeLady said, once you've made the Soup, you know you're Huge.
