Hi guys, my name is Emme. I work at a specialty tights store and I've discovered that most people just don't know what they're doing when they're trying to buy tights. This video is the second in a series explaining how to ask for what you're looking for, the different terminology involved, what kinds of tights and pantyhose exist, how sizing works and the difference between brands and how to properly put on and care for your tights. Hopefully these will help you get what you're looking for the first time you go. It's a lot more complicated than you'd think, so I hope these will help a little bit.
The next video will talk about the different materials tights are available in and how that affects the fit and look.
Thanks for watching, feel free to leave a comment requesting any topics you want covered. I'll do my best to help you out.
How high should the waistband be when I have my pantyhose on? Should it be above or below my bellybutton? and one more thing some times I get pantyhose that roll at the waist, is there any way to prevent this?

@markmclaren11 Unless you've purchased low rise tights, they should come to above your bellybutton, at your natural waist. Your natural waist is the narrowest part of your torso. The best way to prevent rolling is to buy tights that have a wider waistband. Narrow waistbands have a tendency to roll, but if you get the proper size then it should be less of a problem. If your pantyhose are hitting below the bellybutton, that is most likely the source of the issue.
