Casey Nunez, a resident of Reggio Louisiana, attempted to help a neighbor clear out a storm drain and in the process, discovered a new phenomenon. "Oil Rain".
Can oil evaporate with water and fall back down to earth as rain?
The "Catastrophe in the Gulf", is on a scale greater than anything the human population has ever faced. The events which lead up to the explosion at the Deepwater Horizon oil rig may have been caused by man, however I'm afraid that BP may have unleashed a force within nature that we are not ready to understand.
This disaster has the potential to put us all in a state of peril. "Oil Rain" if true, could be just the beginning. Consider the fact that a tsunami may occur due to the build up of methane gas, should there be a rupture or volcano-like explosion on the ocean floor.
BP must pay for the clean-up with all of their assets. After that, they should no longer exist as a company.
I for one, will "Boycott BP". Should further ecological and economic damage occur, further steps will have to be taken.

  • ... cont. so the judge overturned the ruling because the government overreached claiming its moratorium was backed by experts when the moratorium they suggested was different from the federal governments version. politricks as usual. I'm not blaming the judge because the federal government caused this by being disingenuous. You can't get mad when you get called out for lying, they should simply build a better case for doing what they want to do.

  • the judge ruled that the federal government overreached and overplayed their hand, listing experts they consulted to make their case, when the version of the recommendations these experts signed off on were changed to what the federal government wanted last minute. These experts did not want their names supporting a moratorium different from what they actually recommended

  • This gas issue in the Gulf is scary. Firstly all the ships would sink right away. The gas would replace the sea and goodbye all shipping in a big area. The the sea would come together to fill the space and create 2 very big waves. These waves would travel and just last for ages at a great speed. I am actually quite worried now and I don't live in the US. Just GET OUTTA THERE IF YOU ARE READING THIS.

  • Keith, once again, welcome back. This mess going on in the Gulf has a foul stench in more ways than one. Let's see who benefits from this disaster and it's eventual clean up. Let those who REALLY pull the strings in Washington come forward....Hmm.

  • @seand67 there is no evidence he was invested at the time he made his judgment. Key word was had... past tense.

Look at the case not the BS

  • How would you like to be a marine in afghanistan and hear that your getting the fainting general?

  • Thanks for talking about Judge Feldman's various 'Holdings'...Hmmm

  • under pressure gas is liquid, it's when pressure is removed it turns to gas and becomes more volatile.

I think McChrystal went off on the Admin because he felt a lack of support making the job impossible and would not risk the lives of his men without speaking out.

I still think he was wrong, but he may have had too few choices in which to make his arguments.

Anyways on all fronts, the news does not favor Obama, and the comparisons between he and Bush are becoming very similar.
