My blog about this clip: http://wp.me/pOGIT-2z
The final scene in the movie. I'm one of the knaves

What was so memorable on this particular set was the incredible impact of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh who had just gotten married. They were such a perfect twosome, so young, vibrant, and filled with love for each other. Notice at the end when Tony gets ready to kiss Janet, the absolute look of love in her eyes. There was no acting in that kiss. It was superbly romantic. Long after the director yelled CUT, they remained locked in each other's arms. The entire set erupted in warm friendly applause for the power couple who were so beloved by all of Hollywood. Tony with his usual boyish charm finally turned and gracefully bowed to his audience of extras, actors, grips, and directors.

  • @1234876518 I wish I knew where to find it too. If it ever shows again I will post a link.

  • @ralphm2000 I found this movie uploaded by diasukialiki. Merry Christmas!

  • @moviegal57 Wow. What a find. Thank you so much. I will be downloading this immeadiately.

  • Most famous quote: Yonder lies my fodder's castle. Which Tony may or

    may not have said.

Well, Cary Grant claimed he never said, "Judy, Judy, Judy".

They couldn't have done it without you, Ralph. Thanks for the

    fascinating post.

  • @rockgor You are so right. No movie worth it's salt got there without the cooperation as well as silent acting of the background people. Some actors learned that the hard way. lol. Actors of the stature and friendliness of Tony Curtis always got the best results from the extras. Fortunately for me no more than a handful of times did I work with such clueless actors. Good idea.. thanks... I will add a blog about the good guys when time permits.
