From the Charleston Daily Mail:
"A Charleston man was arrested for allegedly stealing an elderly woman's purse at a grocery store on the city's West Side.
Steven Mark Wandling, 26, of Ruffner Avenue was arrested Tuesday afternoon, Sgt. Bobby Eggleton said in a press release.
On June 2, Wandling and a female accomplice took the purse of Marion Chenoweth, 88, while she shopped for groceries at Kroger on Delaware Avenue, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court.
The pair took the purse from Chenoweth's shopping cart. Wandling's female accomplice has not yet been arrested and was not immediately identified.
Wandling and the unnamed woman were last seen running from the store with the purse and fleeing in a 1998 Toyota Camry. Detective Eric Tipton was later able to determine the vehicle belonged to Martin Hicks, the father of Wandling's girlfriend.
Wandling has been charged with petty larceny. He is being held at South Central Regional Jail on $10,000 bond. "
