  • Thanks that is nice of you to reply. I'll definately put on video via phone on youtube..

when I'm there and let you know.. I have a costco membership and I'll for sure stop there right after we pick up our rental.. we get in at 10:00 am.. How did you like the Lagoon at the Hotel?.. we'll have two little ones and inlaws..:) which is going to help.

  • @tb872 You will LOVE the lagoon and the pool at the Hilton Waikoloa Village!!! There's also a dolphin encounter if you want to spend the bucks. If the kids are 7+, there's also a good water slide at one end of the main pool, and at the other end - if they're little 'uns - is a wonderful kiddie area with a sand bottom.

If you forget the video, no problem since we know the Waikoloa property very well; it's the King's Land we stayed at last summer before it was fully open ;-)

  • Thank you! Great job.. we are staying here in August 2010 and staying a premium 2 bed room.. not sure what the difference maybe the view.. anyway.. thanks again..

  • @tb872 Hm, I can't recall if we were in a premium... Usually, the premium will be a 2nd floor end unit or on the third floor - the view is generally of the golf course. The older Waikoloa timeshare does have rooms overlooking Waikoloa Dr., but King's Land, IIRC, only has golf course/mountain view rooms. I hope you have an awesome time - see if you can write back and let me know how the clubhouse and main pool came out, OK? We won't be back 'til next year [pout] ;-)

  • @tb872 Ah! [facepalm] No, this unit wasn't premium - the premium units look pretty much the same, but overlook the golf course, not Waikoloa Dr.

BTW, if you can, stock up at Costo in Kona or at the grocery stores in either the Mauna Lani complex or up in Waikoloa Village - a bit cheaper than the market in the Queen's Marketplace ;-)
