This is Jesse Young and Stuart Collins performing their choreography, "Sausage Strut", with their band of roguish gentlemen at Blues Muse 2008 in Philadelphia. This is the cleaned up, new and improved version of this video! For an even higher quality version, see http://www.vimeo.com/2358930/.
The name "Sausage Strut" is a parody of the title "Sandra's Stroll," the women's routine also taught and performed at Blues Muse 2008. "Sandra's Stroll" was originally choreographed by Sharon Davis.
Stuart and Jesse choreographed this routine in three weeks in September 2008 as a response to the dearth of modern men's solo blues dancing. Their aim was to explore masculine blues movement. They taught this routine in one hour and 15 minutes to the men participating in the Blues Muse Workshop Weekend, and performed it that evening at the late night social dance.
Blues Muse was a weekend workshop held Oct 3-5, 2008 in Philadelphia inspired by and focused on blues dancing for women. For more information on Blues Muse, see lindyandblues.com/bluesmuse/.
The weekend was organized by LaB, a volunteer organization hell bent on promoting Lindy Hop and blues dancing in Philadelphia. More information on LaB can be found at lindyandblues.com.
Usually there are so much more woman that dance then men. It looks like your group is almost even steven with men and women. That is rare! Kudos to you guys!

If this is supposed to be a men's solo-why is there a woman in it??? Anyway, it was good and you could see it better than your other flicks. Post some more.
