I prepared an activity with my students last year using this video and a worksheet. It's hard for them to understand at the beginning but they ended up enjoying it.

"i like English 'cause I understand it." One honest person in the hole bunch. The others were falling into the snob appeal trap. Especially with the French language not because I don't like French but it does have a reputation, deservedly or otherwise of being sophisticated and spoken by the well-to-do. Baloney. Every bum in France speaks French. ;-)

How do you define the most beautiful language? What makes a language more beautiful than other languages?
I think if it's all about the sound of a language, then the question is impossible to answer properly because one should know all languagesfirst to get the correct answer- if there is a correct answer at all.
If it's about how beautifully one could express oneself in a particular language, well, then the same holds true.
