** Master Woo has earned teaching degree in Taekwondo (as a Major) from Yong-In University in Korea. Master Woo is 6th degree certified international master instructor from World Taekwondo Federation and has been teaching Taekwondo for 19years in the state. In addition, he has earned multiple teaching degrees including physical education teacher's license from the Ministry of Education in Korea and yoga teacher's license from Yong-In University. He has been involved in Taekwondo for more than 30 consecutive years.

Isn't bo Japan's terminology for staff, if so wouldn't the Korean term be different?

@hellwroughtangel In Korean, long staff is called "Jhang Bong" and short stick is called "Dan bong"

@TheEpicM Well I'm not taekwonwoo but any martial art can/does use weapons due to the fact that you train with your foot and fist most of the time but you're still allowed to use weapons by treating and using the weapon as you would do without one.So if you do a straight punch then you can do a forward thrust with your staff with the same motion as you would do with the punch.
