This guy was an awesome voice character for the XMEN 90s Cartoons, he did Apocalypse.
Just awesome, he really put voice with the character of the comics.
If you havent heard it, YOU SHOULD, he gives Darth Vader a run for his money!

God Bless John Colicos.
A great actor and decent gentlemen, like Lorne Greene and many others from his extremely respectable generation.
Someone whom present day actors should study and learn from.
I always thought that John Colicos should have starred in a sequel episode in Star Trek's 2nd Season as Klingon Commander Kor, facing off against Capt. Kirk in a tactical space battle. Like most Star Trek fans, who knows what the possibilities could have been in a 4th Season...

the greatest villian of all to me is got to be baltar,so evil and cool at the same time,he will be missed.

Nice to see something of the man himself. I only ever knew him as Kor, Baltar and Quinn, each equally convincing characters.

Fantastic interview. Thanks for posting.

John Colicos left this earth on March 6, 2000 (aged 71) In 1998 he help make a fan trailer for Battlestar Galatica with his old co-stars in hopes of resurrecting the series (ignoring Galatica 1980). Unfortunately it was never picked up. And much later replaced with a version that has nothing in common with the original.

Thanks tons for posting this. Was that a mistake about his date of passing (1991?)
Any more of this interview?

Thanks for your comments. 1991 is the year John spoke to the 25th Star Trek anniversary rally in Toronto. He died in 1990.

Good post Sackville, John was a great actor. I would loved to have met him in person. A slight correction though, John died in March of 2000, not 1991.

Thanks for your comments and pointing out that John died in 2000, not 1991. I will make the correction. As a great fan of all things Trek he would have enjoyed the many Trek offerings on Youtube.

I loved his character better on the DS9 episodes than TOS. "Blood Oath", Sword of Kahless" and "Once More Unto The Breach" were the best. The Klingons, in my opinion, were the best part of Star Trek (well the Romulans too).

It's a pity John died before the advent of Youtube and other social networks. He would have enjoyed reading your comments. I hope there are more.
