Pro Sealers Vs. Anti Sealers!

Visiting Montreal I was involved in a Counter-protest with Anti=Sealers against Pro-Sealers of Canada! The Ignorance was loud and the Chants Louder! The two Protest Outright Show that the most support goes to the Anti-Seal Slaughter Protesters with a March in Downtown Montreal of 200 people! Canadians really do not want their Tax money supporting this horrific marine animal Slaughter! The Quota for 2010 was raised over 350,000 Baby Harp Seals to be slaughtered just for their FUR! From the cruelty to the fur being treated all 3 important factors of life are affected - The cruelty to animals and decline in the ocean ecosystems, the Planet's Environment being polluted by fur production, and the human being poison by the use of chemicals in that production through air-soil-water!

I dislike seeing any animal suffering, it's human nature. I support the World Wildlife Foundation in their efforts to end extinction of species and inhumane treatment to others.

Less credible animal-rights activists use the Seal Hunt as a means to gain profit from misinformed donors. It's easy to protest because it effects no one except the seal hunters, who will lose their income and fall into poverty.

You have got to be kidding me! Fur production and use is far more eco-friendly than man-made synthetics, not only for the planet but human health as well. The industry aspect to the hunt is secondary next to wildlife management which is critical for sustaining healthy herds. If the seals become over populated they will starve and/or suffer disease. The seals that are killed are self-reliant and independant of the cows or in other words, no longer babies.
