St Marthas on the Hill

Friends and I take a walk to a local old church on the hills of Guildford called "St Marthas". While we are there we bump into a rather helpful fellow called Bill Humphries who shows us around a little.
The quality is a little dark at times, but hopefully this gives a little record of St Marthas and our day there.

Yeah he's a volunteer, - I've been meaning to let him know this is up - so if you ever bump into him let him know! Didnt know Yvonne Arnaud was buried there....:)

I should add what a great guide that Bill is. I could listen to him for hours. I take it he's a volunteer? Nothing mentioned about Yvonne Arnaud being buried there, though.

I live in Guildford and have walked my dog over St Marthas hill for years and did not no a single thing about the church. very interesting. Not only that, the man makes a refference to Compostela in Spain. My family are from just a few miles from there in La Coruna. Small world.
