This at the time when ABC pulled the plug and KNTV was an indipendent station Until NBC took over in 2003

@frankd1965 In September 1999, ABC's KGO-TV paid $14 million to Granite Broadcasting, the owner of KNTV at that time, to drop KNTV's ABC affiliation by July 2000. This gave KNTV time to re-image itself as a news heavy independent station. So at the time of this clip KNTV was still an ABC affiliate.

@frankd1965 Actually, according to Wikipedia, KNTV was a WB affiliate from 2000 to 2001, then NBC took it over on New Year's Day 2002.

This set is strikingly similar to KHCW/KIAH in Houston... Almost as though the Texas station bought it from KNTV.
