OK, I get it now. Fat Larry's Band was Philly bros and WILD 1090 in Boston was run by Steve Crumbley and Butterball Jr, both had ties to Philly. Makes perfect sense, now.
Don't know if this song went over nationally but it killed Boston in early 1980. I couldn't find it because I thought the Fatback Band did it, Dumb, huh? Great post, thanks.
The 70's, in terms of music, was no joke, never to be duplicated again, damn. 70's bands, well written songs with message and meaning, real fun and good times, real instruments and talent, the list goes on.
