To CTV news: Hello, my name is Patrick Dalrymple, i'm eighteen and I just finished highschool. I'm speeking in regards to a story I have that would most certainly be interresting if it were to be broadcast on television. I started to work for my local Wal-Mart supercentre as a cashier, right here in my hometown of Rockland Ontario in october.

Its been approximetly 10 months and throughout those months i've discovered a talent that most people seem to have forgotten these days. The art of bagging groceries. To my suprise, this came very naturally to me but to others, it looked like a supernatural gift from a greater force.

A full kart of items takes me 5 minutes while for the other cashiers, 8 to 10 minutes. My IPH, or items per hour varies around 750 to 875 items per hour. I don't just have the ability to go extremily fast when I bag groceries but I also ensure the very stucture of the bag that in the long run, makes every custormer here at Wal-Mart super centre that much more happier.

I even took it up a notch by looking for videos on grocery bagging on youtube.com and to my suprise, the art of bagging groceries and your speed hits the international level in the US. They made a movie called Ready set Bag, which consists of the best grocery baggers slash cashiers in the country who fight off in a compitition in order to win the grand prize in Las-Vagas for a total of 10,000 dollars.

I just find it frustrating that i'm not in america where my talent could actually be appreciated. Here in Canada unfortunately, we don't have huge compititions like that. They even made a website about this movie, readysetbag.com Also, the winner got to go on the David Letterman show and bag against him in front of millions of TV spectators, which in the future, could hopefully be me.

My point is, before I stop working at Wal-Mart super centre, which will be towards the end of august 2011, if your team could help me broadcast my story to the world, maybe they will let me take part in the bagging competition even though i'm Canadian. I would love to represent my Canadien friends in america, because I swear on my health and everything that surrounds me, that I am canadas best grocery bagger, I promise you that. Think about it, with the help your team, I could be the next great thing, the Justin Bieber of grocery bagging, a source of inspiration for people and most cetainly, retail stores, cashiers and baggers all over. Thank you.
