Coffs Harbour Gold Panning

Getting some gold out of a big hole in the creek. Got most of it in the first half of the day as the drop-off became too deep and we couldn't reach new wash. Some garnet chips can also be seen in the pan. Located around Coffs Harbour NSW.

@benandmichelledotnet Good to here from you again. Yes the water is quite warm and the climate is nice and cool in the creeks. Yes star creek strikes again ;). We'll head out again this weekend weather permitting, think there is a fair bit of rain forecasted though

I went out and had a bit of a go on the weekend. Dug a bloody big hole but couldn't find any clay... So I found a tree that had fallen in the last few months and dug the clay out from its roots. All I found were some chunks of what looked like old machinery rust...

Keep on digging I guess!
