I'm trying manual but it's so damn hard for me, and I always get owned by automatic ping-pong kiddies playing with Spain, it's annoying.

I don't create many scoring chances per game but I guess I'll improve with time, I'd just like to know if someone had the same problem? Getting frustrated at bad passes but mastering manual with time? I'd just like to know if it happens to everyone or I'm just too mentally slow. :D

@Luthrus It's just a learning curve, keep at it. If you're struggling online with manual then keep trying offline for a bit. Don't get frustrated, just feel the satisfaction when you do something well. Sometimes you have good games, sometimes bad. One day I can't pass at all and the next I can play like Brazil, depends on concentration, mood, etc. It's all about you and not what the game is doing for you, that's why we love manual Fifa so much!

These goals were a mix of Semi-Pro, Pro and a couple on World Class. I'm currently putting together a video of Full Manual goals for EAs Fifa World Cup 2010 game and all goals will be on World Class or Legendary. Scored some absolute crackers!

Manual is essentially the way the game designers think Fifa should be played. It puts so much more control at your fingertips than the robotic and fake assisted controls. You can do so much with manual that assisted can't even comprehend. What I hate is that the maker of this video has used a bunch of clips where he's clearly playing against a novice setting. Manual against Pro setting is the one. Awesome passing and flowing football HAS to be played to win.

Manual controls should be compulsory in the future, it's really the only way to play. Every goal is so satisfying because it really is you who scored it, the game does virtually none of the work for you. Took me ages to get used to, but now I can win manually on legendary. I never want to go back to assisted again =)

I Play with manual settings, although I don't understand how some people get these amazing curve balls into the goal most of my goals are just with laces or ones that curve around the goalie on the ground. Btw Awesome music :) Arctic Monkeys

@Luthrus now with fifa 11 create custom matches with manual controls only. you play against an opponent with the same destiny as you and so it gets balanced again. it just might be a bit harder to find opponents. i was super frustrated in the beginning (1 week ago) but now im getting better and better and in almost every match i figure something new out. it is so much fun to know that IF you master it, you can beat almost everyone. good luck and keep training lad

just won an online world cup using Belgium with all manual control yesterday. I was really excited but still need a lot of practice in manual control.

@Leeko23Arsenal my first manual match England 0-6 Germany on legendary . Next time 'round it was England 2-0 Germany . 2 beatiful extra time goals 1 from lampard the other from gerrard , i felt so proud after that victory . I decided to play the Germans 1 last time . This time i lost 0-3 , oh well i'l get them next time (maybe). :(

My first fully manual match, Arsenal 2-1 Accrington Stanley on legendary. Both the goals were free-kicks. I've got plenty to improve on, manual-wise! That said, I found it makes shooting at the near post a lot more effective!
