This promo isnt that cool, because that isnt a split window bug, post a split window bug and ill love it, but now this was juat a waste of my time and internet
Hitler only came forth with the plan, probably more like the demand, to design the car. Dr. Porsche was the man behind it, and allegedly really didn't want anything to do with the Nazi party.
While Hitler's agenda made it happen, Dr. Porsche was the person behind it. Don't go spouting bullcrap like that until you've read some books—Hitler couldn't even drive. Hitler wanted to create a "people's car" for purely political reasons. Porsche had wanted to make a small, affordable car for DECADES beforehand. You have Ferdinand Porsche to thank, not just Hitler.
It's actually a known fact that Ferdinand Porsche paid royalties to a Czech automaker for allegedly having taken inspiration from the little known Tatra automobile. I'd rather Porsche take all the credit for the ingenuity of the KdF/Beetle but if Hitler's murderous mind did have anything to do with its inception, he certainly wasn't the first to have thought of its enduring design.
is that a rule ? I like beetles, but really don't want to thank Adolf Hitler. I'd rather thank the Brits for making the wholesome idea behind it, come to life - after WW2
Man... I thought that (hot) woman was the designer... >_<

Hitler went to Porche with the idea and a scetch, without him it would not exist.

either way the beetle would be invented, Porche would have made it even if Hitler died. The car is not a symbol for nazis' its just a car!
