Police were forced to close a section of Notre Dame E. St. on Tuesday morning after a 56-year-old bicyclist was struck by a heavy truck at the corner of Notre Dame and Frontenac Sts. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, a 37-year-old man, was brought to hospital for treatment of shock.

  • @malachimovies You fucking idiot, BOTH the driver and the cylists need to take some responsibility. Some serious, fatal accidents are caused by cyclists.

  • Sounds like the reporter thinks it is primarily the responsibility of the cyclist to avoid accidents. Hadn't the driver a responsibility to look out for cyclists?
