Just bought some Manchester Selects

It means that they use heat to bond the rubber parts and the shoe together instead of just glue and stitching. I'm not sure of the whole process like whether they use uncured rubber to start with. Take a look at a pair of old school vans or Converse Chuck Taylor shoes, those are made the same way, have been since 1917.

vulcanized is when u have a vans waffle sole situation with the white outer layer glueing the sole on. vulcanized are usually more flexible but they dont last long.
