The inspiration from this groove came partly from listening to Opus Pocus by Jaco and partly from the Beatles track Day Tripper. In Opus Pocus, Jaco uses some cool muted notes in the funky section of the song that influenced the muted note rake before the walk-up from F# through G and G#. The notes in the main riff are roughly based on the Day Tripper guitar riff. There's a few variations in there where I chuck in some extra muted notes and some quick triplets at the end. Enjoy!

I'm now on http://playbassnow.com (thanks MarloweDK) go to Guest Teachers and find Casimer and other guest teachers there.
