How To Flash/Debrand Sony Ericsson Mobiles With XS++

This Video Shows You How I Flashed My W850I With Unbranded Firmware, To do this yourself:

Register for www.topsony.com

1). Download Your Main Firmware (.mbn) and your FS (.fbn)
2). Download A Custpack for your phone
3). Download XS++
4). In the folder xs++ is extracted in create a folder called "own_custpack"
5). Press Connect
6). Hold Down (c) on your Phone And Connect
7). Choose your flash files, and your custpack and click flash

This process took me about 15 - 20 minutes

if your struggling to connect, i downloaded Sony Ericsson update service, install that then restart and try xs++ again.

ALSO i will not be held responsible if you download the wrong phones firmware and brick your phone, it worked for me so it must be you that did something wrong, chances are if you watched and read this it will go right 100%

@qwn652 im not to sure on this one, it might void your warranty doing this because its modding the phones firmware, but its worth googling around to find out :D

getting the same error which cant open the comm port, however i cant install my phone driver since my phone is unable to turn on. are there any other ways?

@cic4kz install sony ericsson update service (SEUS), this installs the boot drivers for your phone, try it after that :) hope this helps

@FernandoEMOrsolo Im so sorry for the late reply, and i clicked into R1KG001 RED52, then used W850_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_1_RED52 on my phone for the firmware, then W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_R­ED52 for my custpak :D hope this helps
