Neighbor climbs ladder half way up tree with a chainsaw...gravity takes over from that point on. He's okay now though.

I was shocked by the second half of the vid. The tree repeatedly stood back up dragging the poor chap back with it, before falling all over again. It is remarkable that he survived the repeated onslaught.

Can't tell you how many jerks I have met over the years who said "I can make ANY tree fall any way that I want through the secret art of NOTCHING". They all eventually drop a tree on something valuable, then they stop being so cocky.
Some trees have a natural lean to them that NO AMOUNT of notching can fix. Period.
