  • seed oil stands much higher temperatures than olive oil, that's why it is used in chinese stir fries, you should mention that.

  • Hi there,

    You are right. The higher the smoking point of an oil the more stable it will be at high temperatures. Some oils like grape seed oil, rice bran oil and canola oil are particularly suitable for stir-fries so I highly recommend these options when cooking at high temperature.

  • G'day, Do you think I could add more vegies and skip the meat? I have to lower my meat intake and this recipe looks healthy and Yummy!!

  • 1. The wok is overfilled 2. The meat is being boiled when doing it like that. 3. meat and vegetables cooked at different rates so they should be cooked separately. Meat is cooked on its own, dished out and put back in in the end.
