Ashland Independent Film Festival April 3-7, 2008

Helen Hunt was presented with the festival's annual Rogue Award honoring the independent spirit of her new film. Hunt makes her directorial debut and stars in the 2008 AIFF selection, Then She Found Me, which she adapted from the Elinor Lipman novel of the same name. Hunt says the years of developing stories and directing episodes for Mad About You served as "a kind of boot camp, the best possible way to go to film school."

This is footage of the Award and Film Maker Q&A that followed the showing of the film. A very intimate conversation with an amazing talented person.
