Wonderful registration...great performance. I think the tempo is perfect.

Dislike the angry-sounding beginning registration. Should be no reed at the beginning. No 16' stop.

No trill at :41, 1:50, 2:05, and elsewhere? Disappointing.

Love the scale up on the hauptwerke at 2:33 and again!

Hollow registration in the middle makes hearing inner voices difficult.

Disappointing performance of this greatest organ fugue of Bach.

Grade C- due to registration and subject trills not performed.

Helmut Walcha plays this best.
