  • This is not the master bass, jason uses the wha as well in the live.

  • @GothicXII It's because this was taken from the Surround sound version, so it's not the track from the board itself but just mono out of the 5.1? Something like that. That's how I was told they got this track

  • Eh. Doesn't sound right. Talented bassist, but its his own twist on it.

  • sounds like hes switching from pcik to finger??? or is he just playin like that.,..?

  • I wish the original song would appear on a Guitar Hero so we could get the isolated bass.

  • Jason is Very tallented, but listening to the off-timing by Newstead in some of Cliff's most amazing licks in the song makes you realise what a Treasure Cliff was.

  • this track is a lot more complex then I thought, I have a lot of work to do before learning this entire track

  • true true, on the dvd he is clearly using a wha, if you listen closely, u can here his wha on a separate output, i think it was split audio for effect. i can hear the clean and the wha when i put headphones on

  • Is everyone here an idiot? When you use effects you tend to have two outputs. This is obviously his clean channel.

  • Cliff's version is definately better than this. However, Jason's playing is more melodic than Cliff's as a rule, and Jason's playing on this version gives it a very eerie feel. It's quite nice.

  • How did u cut off the live song?

  • its not just just wah that makes cliff so much better, its the little licks and fills he adds and the timing of the wah & distortion is amazing. jason is an awsum backing vocalist but his style of bass on the old school albums dont go. cant stand it
