it was revealed that Apocalypse had never been able to use the Celestials' technology without their notice, and Apocalypse believed that they would soon exact their retribution. Apocalypse sought death as an escape route, but the Celestials appeared, resurrecting him in order to spirit him away for their judgement.

@RedGrobo ummm....read more x-men comics dude...you're wrong. this isnt a discussion, its factc en saba nur's power is extremely extended life, not eternal life. all of his other powers are cause of the Celestials. arguing otherwise just proves your lack of research

Besides If Erik was that strong, why didn't he kill Apoc right away instead of desperately threatening to blow up with a plasma bomb when he was all alone against the big A? fans love to overlook this to make Mags look good & yell he won at the end like it was that easy! well it wasn't it was a great victory for Mags because of HOW HARD IT WAS! Erik made a miracle by finishing a guy who turned the earth into a vast laboratory. also HOM=POS & an insult to all fans of Wanda, Dr Doom & Apoc

Read AOA, and Magneto only survived to kill Apocalypse thanks to Bishop in the 1st fight & Nate Grey in the final issue. Other than that , Magnus was a)outmatched & b)slapped around like the kid he is to Apoc. As for the whole "he trounced him!" It took a lot of concentration & risk to pull a stunt like that, besides BOTH Nate & Erik were not giving him a single chance of moving knowing how dangerous he is.

@shoemaker55 only after x man worn him down... even then apoc beats mags but spends time talking to him which gives mags a chance to rip him in half.

Let me break it down for u. In the last issue of the Age of apocalypse , Magneto split Apocalypse in two. Look it up...it was awesome.
