@YingYangCousins with heavy cars, the gear ratios must be shorter to keep good acceleration

Come on, if you want to drive fast, don't buy a SUV but a proper sportscar!

According to wikipedia & BMW this model does 0-100 in 8.8 seconds so 8.9 is pretty accurate.

hehe yes where i live there's almost none traffic stuck so i prefer manual gearbox but for situation like you'rs i understand why you want automatic :)
-
jesus... I have E39 with manual gearbox, but to be honest, my next BMW will have automatic. The reason is simple. When you get into a city, where the traffic si so stuck that you need to shift gears all the time, then you simply get pissed off and its no good at all for the car itself. Of course If you are lucky and you drive on open roads with no obstacles, then I understand that you would not even consider automatic gear box...

Omg hey, a manual faggot who looks down at automatic users. Well how's this, KBFausing's comment is 100% real. If you do say that I don't own an X5, I do, just check my videos for 4.4i.
It's an automatic, I'll betcha this ssjbardock2000 guy is mad because I drive one.
Well bitch, I drive both, a manual TL SH-AWD and X5, so let's get down to sucking some cherries, eh?

I'm also from DK, and ssjbardock2000, your argument is invalid, because you might say that you want a manual gearbox, and that you don't get people who drive with an automatic, the ride is so much smoother with an automatic + it maintains the value of the car much better (which is crucial in DK 'cause of the prices), and if you want to drive in your car with a hard stick in your hand all the time, then fine by me.
