You really need to get your facts straight.

She repeatedly broke the law, something that could have damaged his career, something they had clearly discussed before yet she thought she could get away with it.

And she is NOT developmentally challenged. Her hands were screwed up as a kid, which is why her parents made her play piano to work out the nerves in her hands. There is nothing wrong with her now.

Just to set the record straight, as a social worker for 12 years in child protection what both of these parents subjected their daughter to is beyond any form of what warrants "appropriate discipline",Under the Child Protection Act the legislation has grounds for an immediate investigation and temporary removal of this child from her parents care due to child maltreatment. To put in layman terms if a stranger did this they would be arrested for physical and verbal assault!!!!!
