because his eye sight was impeccable and his voice was so incredibly loud. If any unwanted animal entered the sheep pasture, he would screech their name, and send them running for the forest surrounding the pasture. None ever made it back though, he was too sharp and loud. Every animal was slaughtered if Gabriel spotted it.

Wolf story
Each wolf was assigned a specific village for hunting. The villages had very little protection for their livestock. My village livestock were sheep, very simple animals to kill and take.
