This is an uncut series of still photographs created in 5 days for personal work and for promoting the 2007 Hasselblad Masters. It is likely that only 6 to 10 of the 2000 images herein will ever have a commercial or fine-art life.

  • I'm wondering what's the name of the song used in this video, It's been stuck in my head for a week now O.o

  • Song is Midnight Voyage by the amazing band Ghostland Observatory. Great track!

  • I like that kind of desaturated and cold look to the photos at 4:00, 4:16, 4:37. How is that done?

  • Just good ol' Photoshop. Some desaturation, contrast and tonal work with a mask here or there. I'll see if Scott can chime in...

  • Hi there!!! its just an awesome video, dont have words for the pictures, as all coments just told the good they are, but i ask mysel, which program did you use to do the video?? the music feet perfects and the transitions are really cool, something i cant get from the programs i'm using...

    thanks & cheers!!!!

    Jimbo

  • Jimbo: made it using Apple's Final Cut Pro video software. Amazing stuff.

  • Are you serious?? dude the lighting fits the element of the photographs that he is taking, are you suggesting that all pictures should be flood lit like a football pitch?

Lighting is a creative element and i think he has done an excellent job to add mood to the pictures.

  • I just LOVE the crime shots/sequence. Freaking brilliant!

I've watched this so many times over the past weekend. Perfect with the music.

    Just AMAZING!

  • @CapturePlay you are very wrong. Primes for sports? seriously?? No... he/she should use a 70-200 2.8 if sony makes that. OR something close to that lens. a 50 is not going to do much unless the scene is set up. Sports are constantly changing. Therefor you need a lens that can change with it. Primes are the most ridiculous idea for sports photography. Sports portraits, yes.. but not action photography.

  • Nice love it

  • Sophie Ellis Bextor - "Murder On The Dancefloor "

to this song vidio stunning effect it

  • Ghostland Observatory!! got it, it is good not to let my ADD take over me until the end of the video.

  • I need that beat!! Who is musical artist?

  • Hey dude, I would recommend a couple of fast, cheap primes, like a 50, 85, 105, stuff like that, depending on what your shooting? You'll get wicked fast glass (necessary if inside) on the cheap, with amazing, sharp lenses to boot.

What kind of sports are you looking to shoot?

  • hi, i got a sony alpha 200 on summer.. I am starting to work on a teen magazine at my town. I need some good and cheap lenses for sport photography and other party activity .. Please give me some info on what should i buy

  • love your work...
