Review: 2006 Mercedes-Benz C350

For its 2006 C-Class, Mercedes has discontinued the wagon and coupe body styles and updated the range of available engines for the sedans. The model lineup now consists of the C230 with a 201-horsepower, 2.5-liter V6; the C280 with a 228-hp, 3.0-liter V6; and the C350 with a 268-hp, 3.5-liter V6. A new seven-speed automatic transmission, which is available on rear-drive C-Class models, is also part of the powertrain upgrade. Despite the engine and name changes, the new C230, C280 and C350 are otherwise equivalent to last year's C230, C240 and C320 in terms of features and the availability of all-wheel drive and luxury or sport trims. The only other significant change is the addition of new active head restraints for the front occupants.

put it this way..... mercedes is basically the king of cars..... from the old times to present........it has always been and yes it is better then the bmw..overall

335 is 1 sec quicker than the C350 because of its turbos. But compare the 335 to the C32 and that will leave the 335 in the dust. also compare the c63 to the m3 and the c63 will also leave the m3 in the dust. both are v8.

@TacticalHelp Of course the C32 will leave the 335, duhh.. ur comparin a high performance mercedes 2 a luxury bmw.. N the C63 will only leave the M3 in a straight line, turn dat mercedes 2 the side n the M3 will smoke that thng n put iit 2 shame

@garoiscool umm I have had a LOT of cars... not one has ever needed to be in the shop every month.. but then again I have never had a BMW.

Agreed. The 2009+ A4's are gorgeous. In my opinion, best in the price range.

I would get an Audi to be honest. Great exterior, great interior, not too young but not too old at the same time, just right.

@hamut4 I cant decide between a C-Class or a 3 Series for my first car when im 18/19, but I am kind of leaning for the C-Class.
