The original Tabata Protocol requires the following:
8 sets of 20 / 10 intervals: 20 seconds of all-out intense exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest
You must strictly follow the Tabata time intervals and ensure that you take the 10 seconds of rest in between each Tabata interval

  • Excellent workout. I'm a fan of Hom -- that's power. I just did something similar yesterday.

    The Gymboss is very handy, but I wish it used arrows, which would make it more intuitive to use. Also, the beeps could use some volume settings; the gym can get pretty loud and makes it difficult to hear. I'm still quite satisfied with it though.
