A little trivia - their truck is a '65 Ford F-100 Stepside. (My grandpa owned one. lol)

I would love to see kids' programming more like this today. I stopped watching TV eight years ago but already by that time all the kids' shows I saw seemed to be trying to force them into being miniature adults mentally, but gave them very little credit for the ability to experience complex emotions and appreciate aesthetics. The Sesame Street of the 1970s and 1980s seemed to assume (rightly) more emotive and aesthetic capabilities, so it was a "safe place"...and kids still learned so much.
