@suesjoy I know. But I wonder if Pete still smokes? I know he lit up when I saw him at the Tangerine Bowl at The Who's farewell perfomance back in 1982. Just curious.

he loves martha, and he told me that one of his favorite songs of Martha's is:
This Life.
It's on her self-titled "debut"
I introduced Martha to Pete and Rachel (I arranged this appearance- just through sheer love of...all Wainwrights, really...I have connections...just from going to Ru and Martha shows!).
Rachel and Pete adore Martha, and Pete played guitar on 2 songs on her cd, "I Know You're Married but I Have Feelings Too."
I was an ITA groupie...........too!

LOL! The first part looks like the opening credits to a sitcom! As soon as it was over I was expecting to see a TV studio with Pete coming in the door and saying, "I'm home!" and the audience laughter to begin!
