First of all, its just a song!  It's a nice patriotic song but it is JUST A SONG! Treating the public like a bunch of recruits at boot camp forcing them to stand at attenction during a song, hmmm when was the last time we saw that? Nazi Germany in the 1940's! You think Derek Jeter minds standing for God Bless America? What about Posada, or Melky, who grew up playing baseball with a rock? Look what baseball and the United States have given him.
