It was a grey day so I knew it would be favourable for shooting the marvellous myriad coloured dahlias in bloom. Was totally relieved of angst I had had with regard to the disappearing bee when I discovered the abundance that suckled on the gorgeous late blooming dahlias in the Halifax Public Gardens yesterday, 7/22/11. I apologize for the frames appearing out of focus at times, methinks I had focused in on an attempt at photographing the scene before switching the setting on my camera to 'video' to shoot this conversation with my dear friends Colin and the bees. What a glorious afternoon we spent in the gardens. They're one of my favourite places in my personal PARADISE here in 'the Fax.' It felt fantastic to share these precious serendipitous moments watching bees slurping nectar from those gorgeous colourful hybrid dahlias with my dear friend Colin. We were like two kids in a candy store. There are a couple or three more videos of the event to follow. Namaste.
