medieval manuscripts bring to us principles of dagger and wrestling. talhoffer's ambraser codex (1459.), fechtbush (1467.) and goliath with recital of liechtenauer's verses are opend again.

  • Thanks for posting this! Now we can see how wrestling is useful in weapons fighting. Also, one can see that some moves in modern freestyle/greco-roman wreslting were taken from european medieval wrestling.
