Bad Ass Body Armor

Check out this bad ass body armor Dragon Skin by Pinnacle, stops 21 AK bullets, and 120 9mm from an MP5
For some reason it's not worn by the army....

The Dragon Skin vests are known for their silver dollar sized circular discs linked together like fish scales or chain mail. This makes the vests flexible and allows for multiple hits. The discs are composed of advanced ceramic or titanium (depending on the vest rating) composite matrices and laminates.

"Dragon Skin" is a kind of body armor made by Pinnacle Armor and worn by the U.S. Secret Service Presidential Protection detail, CIA, NSA, United States Department of Energy officials in Iraq, some journalists and contractors in Iraq, U.S. Air Force, some Special Ops forces, some police departments and SWAT teams, and nine U.S. Generals in the field (as of Jan 2006).[1] [2]

@iamzero79 the day will come when someone invents a anti gravity generator zone then youll be able to wear ton weight armor that can stop pretty much anything even to survive missile/Agm missiles and have two vulcan mini guns and rocket pods. After taking few rounds through the vest, your internal organs are mashed and you will eventually die a VERY PAINFUL death.

Armor makes you slow and limits your movement, its more bad ass to go to war wearing only plain white T's and armed with a sub machine gun, pistol and a knife.

Well which reason do you want for pinnacle's black listing by the Army? The lying, or the attempt to work around rather than through the Army's testing and procurement process?

Let's be honest here, it probably works fine for the operators wearing it, as they're professional enough to know when to take it off. For your average Infantryman it's a tragedy waiting to happen. It just so happens the stuff falls apart if you spill POL liquids on it and/or wear it in an Iraqi summer.
