@fonsoc Marriage isn't for sex or for procreation. You can have "sex" for procreation or you can have "sex" for pleasure. We're talking about marriage --civil marriage, not sex. Marriage is a legal contract: taxes, next of kin, custody, benefits, insurance - all the societal things that straight couples take for granted but are denied to loving committed same-sex couples. This is about human rights and equality.

One more thing...people don't get married for lust. That's just stupid. People hook up for lust, they build lives together for many other reasons but not lust. There is no gay agenda except the desire to be happy and it isn't your job to decide what that means. Tend your own garden and leave the policing to God.

@fonsoc ---Fortunately not everyone believes what you say is true. Besides, if it were your church wouldn't allow old folks to marry but they do. So what's with the loop holes for some folks? There was a time when good Christian folks taught that it was unlawful and un-Biblical for people from different races to marry. That was simply ignorance hiding behind God. So it is with this prejudice. Face it, God is love and you aren't being very God like.

Marriage is for two purposes - first; procreation to keep the race alive and second; for sexual pleasure between a man and a woman. For Christians there is one other purpose that supercedes both of these and that is, "marriage is to honor God and raise children to love and serve him."

It is proven that the best environment for children is when they are raised by a loving Father and Mother. Do research that doesn't conform to the homosexual agenda. Lust and love are different things.
