WOW,I am married to a catholic women from South America.This is not an American problem.This is a CATHOLIC problem.These priests are PEDOPHILES,Not HOMOSEXUALS .HOMOSEXUALS That i have known are wierd to me ,Yet not PEDOPHILES.The Catholic Church has damaged the balance of SANITY AND RELIGION IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! In the US there are some 10,000 KNOWN victims of Catholic Clerical Sex Abuse..........now, what about all of those who suffered in silence? The real number is far higher.

@just1inchrist In reality....every Bishop in the world was ORDERED to conceal evidence, refuse to cooperate with police & protect the abusers....by Ratzinger & his subordinates, who intentionally orchestrated the global cover-up. There is hard copy evidence of this.

There is far more the '2%' of priests involved globally, as it goes back over 1000 years. Even Archbishop FUlton Sheen is guilty of personally witnessing & knowingly concealing sex abuse......

You people are criticising the Pope?

The Catholic Church says the Pope is INFALLIBLE.

That means nothing the Pope says or does is wrong. It means the Pope CANNOT do wrong, even if he wanted to.

The Catholic Church says the Pope is the Vicar Of Christ on Earth.

As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, if the Pope covered up child rape, then it IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO, since the Pope can do no wrong.

This pope oversaw the investigation into the child sex abuse scandal years before he became pope....He lied...denied and covered up the sex abuse...He also housed pedophile priests in his Vatican country and hid behind canon law....Are we still in the middle ages...why do they STILL have their own country and their own law?

CATHOLICABUSESURVIVORSNI--- can someone tell the americans that the island of ireland is two countries . one having 26 counties called the irish reppublic governed by the irish goverment. who remained neutral in ww2. and northern ireland 6 counties part of the uk governed by the british goverment at 10 downing street london. which has never been exposed for its child sex abuse of children in parishes and in childrens homes across northern ireland .there is a sham cover up inquiry under way .
